COHIBA (1966) |

The best leaves from the best plantations are selected for Cohiba cigars. The outer leaf is usually fine and lightly coloured, and the filling is put through an additional third fermentation (a special process unique to Cohiba).
Cohiba is the most singular, most cared for cigar in Cuba. It is considered to be the best cigar in the world.

LA FLOR DE CANO (1884) |

These are short wrapper-leaf Havana cigars, with an outer and a binder leaf. Both hand and machine rolled, they feature smooth, mild blends, with very agreeable blossom and sweet tones. Excellent quality at the price.

FONSECA (1907) |

The main feature of Fonsecas is their lightness. They have very good combustion and are smooth, sensitive and easy to enjoy. Their presentation in a fine, transparent rice paper accentuates even more their characteristic sweetness, becoming almost "transparent" themselves. HOYO DE MONTERREY (1865) |

Currently considered as one of the best of the new generation of Havana cigars, they are springy, with an excellent draw and magnificent combustion. They have a sweet, subtle, light and very aromatic tang, bringing about an almost perfect balance of bouquet and flavour.

Montecristo will always take a pre-eminent place in the history of the Havana cigar, not only because it is without doubt the most widely extolled and best known, particularly their Montecristo Nº4 (the best selling Havana cigar in the world), but also because their large format cigars have exercised a notable influence in manufacturing criteria among the other Havana cigar makers.
Montecristo has long been, and certainly remains, a high quality brand. The Carmelite colour of the outer leaf, as well as the characteristic flavour, both present in the whole range, represent the uncompromising, strong, robust and vigorous Havana cigar, making them unique and irreplaceable for their aficionados.

FLOR DE TABACOS DE PARTAGAS (1845) |

Partagas is one of the most prestigious Havana cigar makers and is, together with Montecristo and Hoyo de Monterrey, one of the best known. As far as their strength goes, Partagas sits about halfway between the other two.
Partagas cigars have a very pronounced bouquet. Their whole range is recognisable by their medium-strong aroma and flavour. They are beautifully made cigars, with a very select outer leaf, which is generally light coloured.

PUNCH (1840) |

Currently one of the highest quality and best made Havana cigars. Punch cigars have a bucolic flavour to them, essentially fruity or woody, depending on the format. It is somewhat stronger than Hoyo de Monterrey and its outer leaf is usually a reddish brown.

These short filler cigars may be either hand or machine twisted. They have an outer leaf and one binder. They are Havana cigars with body and an uncompromising flavour. Decent quality at a very affordable price.

This is a Havana cigar of excellent quality. It is elegant, with a mellow flavour. Its very characterful taste, rich and sweet, is however not at all peppery. A medium-to-mild strength cigar, it usually has a Carmelite outer leaf.
